1. I love chocolate! Its the best thing ever, and when I am having a bad day, I resort to just 1 piece of chocolate and it makes my day 100 times better. I don't know what it is about it, but 1 piece will make my day brighter. Thank you wonder food!
2. Gardenias are my all time favorite flower, mostly for the scent. Gosh they get me every time. I can't wait till they start blooming!
3. I love to plan parties! Even if its a dinner with a group of friends, or a night out, I love to be the event coordinator of our group. I just have a love for it, and so my friends always have a good time, so they always expect me to perform and ask me to do the planning!
4. I am an interior designer. But, what is odd, is that I don't do residential design! I love to share my loves with my blog followers, but I don't even do residential. I do commercial and corporate, so very sterile, and plain, vanilla if you will. I work on AutoCAD, and I produce construction documents for permits, and I work with furniture design. So basically all the ideas that interior designers do curtains and decor, throw that out the window, I am more architecture and design! And I HATE that no one understands what I do for a living, but I just smile and say yes I love to pick out curtains too : ) Pet peeve if you will.
5. I hate shoes, I love them but I hate to wear them. I mean what girl doesn't like to shop for cute shoes, I know I do. But the moment I get home, those babies are off! And when I was younger, I used to run around the yard shoeless! I loved the way the grass felt in the summer!
6. I'm in love with my husband! We met in college and were instant friends. Which turned to more, and the rest is history. He was always there for me as a friend and still is. Such a wonderful man, I couldn't ask for a better guy. He is that guy who will help you jump your car if you battery is dead in a public place, or help an elderly person up the stairs if they are struggling, and he is that guy who says yes ma'am and no sir. True Southern gentleman!
7. I love projects. My husband I just bought a "fixer upper" and we couldn't be happier with all the projects that lay before us! We can't wait to make the house a home, and share all the adventures with you on my blog! We are both handy so it helps!
